DOTING MOM The Little Couple’s Jen Arnold is ‘so proud’ of daughter Zoey, 8, as she masters riding bike without training wheels
JEN Arnold has taken to Instagram to proudly boast about her eight-year-old daughter Zoey.
The young girl has been learning how to ride a bike during the coronavirus lockdown, and Jen – the star of The Little Couple – was quick to praise her daughter, sharing video across social media.
Alongside the video which showed eight-year-old Zoey bravely cycling down their road with no training wheels, Jen wrote: “She is getting so good at this bicycle thing! So proud.”
She added the hashtag #momlife as well as reminding fans to #wearamask and #staysafe as the pandemic rages on.
Jen, a neonatologist, has been working from home since quarantine started and has been spending a lot more time with her kids.
In June she shared a sweet picture of her children hanging out by the pool as they quarantined in Florida, showing just how big the adopted pair had grown.
Will, 10, and Zoey had their arms wrapped around each other as they flashed big smiles at the camera.
Along with the adorable picture, the mom of two wrote: “These two…. happy Saturday!”
Many of the family’s fans quickly commented on how adorable and grown-up the two looked.
Dr Jen, 46, is one half of The Little Couple, a reality show on the TLC network that she shares with husband Bill Klein, 45.
The pair both have skeletal dysplasia, a form of dwarfism that sets Arnold at 3″2 and Klein at 4ft.
The show has been on the air for 11 years and follows the lives of the couple and their children, Will, 10, and Zoe, 8 whom they adopted from China and India as toddlers.
She sadly developed rare stage three cholangiocarcinoma as a result of a failed pregnancy in September 2013.
The disease began in the cells that would have become the placenta for the baby.
Treatment for the disease was difficult due to Arnold’s skeletal dysplasia and her difficulties with past surgeries.
The road to recovery was a long, intensive journey for Arnold, and after she went into remission in 2014, Arnold was closely monitored by her doctor, as 85 percent of recurrences happen in the first 18 months after chemo.
Today, Arnold is healthy and cancer-free.
